In Craps, you throw a pair of dice with the goal of rolling specific number combinations to win. Types of Bets Pass Line Bets Bet placed before come out roll Win: when the come out roll is 7 or 11 Lose: when the come out roll is 2, 3, or 12 Point: when the come out roll is 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10. To win, the shooter must roll the point again before rolling a 7; if a 7 appears before rolling the point, the Pass Line bet loses. A Pass Line bet is placed on the area labeled Pass Line. This bet is made before the come out roll. This bet wins when the come out roll is 7 or 11, and loses if 2, 3, or 12 is rolled. If 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10 is rolled, that number becomes "the point." To win a Pass Line bet, the shooter must roll the point again before rolling a 7. If the shooter rolls a 7 before rolling the point again, the Pass Line bet loses. This bet pays even money (1 to 1). Once the point has been established, unresolved Pass Line bets may not be removed or reduced and can only be resolved by a roll of the point or 7. Pass Line Odds Bets Bet placed after a point is established Win: when the Pass Line bet wins The Pass Line Odds bet can be made only after the point has been established and you have a Pass Line bet on the table. To place a Pass Line Odds bet, click below your original Pass Line bet and outside the Pass Line bar. A winning Pass Line Odds bet pays true odds when the point is rolled: 2-to-1 on a roll of 4 or 10, 3-to-2 on a roll of 5 or 9, and 6-to-5 on a roll of 6 or 8. Unresolved Pass Line Odds bets may be removed or reduced at any time. Pass Line Odds bets may be made for up to three times your Pass Line bet when the point is 4 or 10, four times your Pass Line bet when the point is 5 or 9, and five times your Pass Line bet when the point is 6 or 8. To obtain maximum payout for Odds, bets should be made in $2 multiples ($2, $14, $42, etc.) when the point is 5 or 9, and in $5 multiples ($5, $20, $50, etc.) when the point is 6 or 8. Don’t Pass Bets Bet placed before the come out roll Win: when the come out roll is 2 or 3 Lose: when the come out roll is 7 or 11 Push/Tie: when the come out roll is 12 Point: when the come out roll is 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10. To win, the shooter must roll a 7 before the point is rolled again; if the point is rolled again before the 7, the Don't Pass bet loses. A Don’t Pass bet is essentially the opposite of a Pass Line bet, and is placed on the Craps table in the "Don't Pass" bar before the come out roll. When the come out roll is 2 or 3, the Don’t Pass bet wins. When the come out roll is 7 or 11, the Don’t Pass bet loses. When the come out roll is 12, the bet is returned to the player in a push. When the come out roll is 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10, that number becomes the point. Once the point has been established, Don’t Pass bets win when the shooter rolls a 7 before rolling the point again. If the shooter rolls the point before rolling a 7, the Don’t Pass bets lose. A winning Don’t Pass bet pays even money (1 to 1). Unresolved Don’t Pass bets may be removed or reduced. However, if you remove your Don't Pass bet, any Don’t Pass Line Odds bets will also be removed. Don't Pass Odds Bets Bet placed after a point is established Win: when the Don't Pass bet wins The Don't Pass Odds bet can be made only after the point has been established and there is a Don't Pass bet on the table. To place a Don't Pass Odds bet, click just below your original bet in the Don't Pass Bar. A winning Don't Pass Odds bet pays true odds when the point is rolled: 1-to-2 on a roll of 4 or 10, 2-to-3 on a roll of 5 or 9, and 5-to-6 on a roll of 6 or 8. An unresolved Don't Pass Odds bet may be removed or reduced at any time. Don't Pass Odds bets may be made for up to three times your Don't Pass bet when the point is 4 or 10, four times your Don't Pass bet when the point is 5 or 9, and five times your Don't Pass bet when the point is 6 or 8. To obtain maximum payout for Odds, bets should be made in $2 multiples ($2, $14, $42, etc.) when the point is 4 or 10, in $3 multiples ($6, $15, $33, etc.) when the point is 5 or 9, and in $6 multiples ($6, $18, $60, etc.) when the point is 6 or 8. Due to the fact that after the Come Out roll the odds are in your favor that a 7 will be rolled before the point, you must wager more money than you will win.
